The matches between Pwllheli and Menai Bridge have been high scoring close matches for years. Saturday was no exception, with both teams going all out. Bridge edged the first half as their forwards imposed themselves. Toby Lewis, always lively at full back, pressurised the Pwllheli wing, charged down a clearing kick and gathered to run a try in under the sticks. Bridge didn't deal well with the restart and Pwllheli gathered spreading the ball wide for a try. Bridge gained a penalty in reply, slotted over by Pat Roberts.
