For the first time in many years Bridge welcomed Porthmadog to Llyn Y Felin. Bridge picked up where they left off last time out and won their fourth match on the bounce.
The big difference between the sides was the structure that Bridge brought to the game. Port struggled to contain the Bridge backline and Dave Williams exploited the space created for a first half hat trick of tries.
The home backs were well guided by Pat Roberts at fly half and Logan Jones bagged a brace of tries. Dan Hughes was rewarded for his support running with a try.
Port regrouped in the second half and had their moments, with their forwards carrying the ball well. They were rewarded with a well deserved try.
Ed Williams had a typically energetic afternoon and his quick thinking was rewarded at the death with his second try of the afternoon. He spotted that there was no one at home defending the blind side flank of a ruck and took the clear path to the line.
With several changes from last week's team, Bridge were pleased with the consistency in play on show. Port will be encouraged that their young side have plenty of ability and will only get better with more experience and game time.
