Sam Warburton visit on 10th August 2019 with Natwest RugbyForce Wales

Menai Bridge Rugby Club is one of two Welsh clubs to have been selected  as a ‘NatWest RugbyForce Wales Showcase Club’ for 2019, winning a grant for £1,000 to undertake improvements to the club’s facilities at Llyn Y Felin plus food and beverages as part of a visit to the club on Saturday 10th August 2019 by former Wales and Lions legend and captain Sam Warburton.

With the Natwest RugbyForce Wales day starting at 9am and finishing about 3pm, Sam will be helping club members with a number of improvements to the club’s facilities, coaching training sessions for the juniors and men’s teams and then having a Q&A session in the clubhouse. All club members and supporters are invited to attend the whole day to help with the improvements, watch or take part in the training sessions, have a bite to eat, and get to meet the Welsh Legend himself.

Please ensure you have suitable clothing to help with the improvement work (this includes  some some painting to be done) and also bring any club clothing to wear too for photo opportunities, etc. Please also ensure you park away from the club’s facilities in the normal game day parking spots such as the Coed Cynrol car park (see map at bit.ly/2dC8I6b).
