Players wanted for new Mixed Ability Rugby team

What is Mixed Ability Rugby?

Mixed Ability Rugby is a slightly modified version of the standard contact game with a team comprised of both disabled and non-disabled players.

Who can play Mixed Ability Rugby?

Mixed Ability Rugby at Llewod y Bont is open to anyone who wants to play rugby in a fun and supportive environment, regardless of your previous experience or ability. If you happen to have some form of disability or barrier but want to play regular rugby, then you are more than welcome. The same goes if you have no disability or barrier.

If you feel you don’t have enough experience, might not be good enough, are new to the game or just want to get back to playing for a bit of regular training and team bonding then Llewod y Bont is the team for you.

Llewod y Bont is hosted by Menai Bridge Rugby Club, but a very warm welcome is extended to those with affiliations to other clubs across Gwynedd and Môn.

When do Llewod y Bont train?

Fun and supportive sessions are held monthly on a Sunday between 11am - 12:30pm

Sunday 18th September

Sunday 9th October

Sunday 13th November

Sunday 11th December

Dates for sessions in 2023 TBC.

Come and give it a go. Please drop Menai Bridge Rugby Club a message on social media or email darrenowen75@yahoo.com if you would like further information.
