Once again Bridge started the match with a bang. Pressure on the home line led to a 5 metre scrum and the impressive Bridge scrum gave number 8 Tiger Hawkwind the opportunity to barge over for  a classic 8 try. Bridge kept the pressure on and a loose defensive kick was swept wide to winger Steffan Davies who stormed in on the wing for a try. A conversion and penalty from fly half Dion McGrath closed the scoring for the half at 15 to nil for Bridge. Bethesda rallied for the second half and exerted a lot of pressure. The bench strengthened the home side who stil could not find a way through the away defence. A loose kick in midfield was pounced on by winger Darragh Byrne back from injury. He caught the lateral kick and outflanked the sweeping defence for a fine try. Despite Bethesda 's best efforts they could not find a way through the Bridge defence and the match finished at 0- 20. It will be a break now for the International matches. The games will be shown at the Menai Bridge club house, all welcome.
