Sheeting rain and a strong crosswind punctuated this match from start to finish. Despite the poor conditions, those who braved the elements enjoyed an entertaining match.

Mold were first on the score sheet with a try from a couple of hacks on the slippery surface. Bridge were unable to gather the slippy ball and Jake Edwards touched down for the visitors. Wil Davies converted and extend the lead to 10 points with a well taken penalty.

Bridge regrouped and pulled a try back through centre Dave Williams, who sliced the defence for an excellent try. Dion McGrath converted  and as Bridge pressed, a penalty was scored to bring the scores to 10 all at half time.

The second half was a tale of the scrum as an attacking weapon. Bridge managed to gain the upper hand in the set piece. The result was two pushover tries for number eight Gerwyn Morris. Mold continued to press however the Bridge defence was solid and, as the game closed, Bridge were awarded a 5 metre scrum. Once again they went for the pushover. Morris was denied a hat trick as the referee awarded a penalty try, which gave Bridge a bonus point and a final score of 31 -10.
