Match report: Menai Bridge 12 - 18 Flint

Flint took an early lead with a penalty that was soon folllowed by a try for Josh Moss who finished off an impressive phase of good support play. In truth, both sides struggled to find any rhythm in the first half, with too many errors interrupting play. Bridge clawed back a try when the ever lively skipper Ed Williams dashed from the back of a scrum. The half closed at 8 - 5 to the visitors.

Bridge started the second half with a new found purpose and were soon rewarded with a try for no. 8 Gareth Parry. The conversion gave  Bridge a 12 - 8 lead. However the Bridge ascendancy was short lived and Flint pulled back a try by Lawrence Rogers. Flint ejoyed the best of territory and posession for the remainder of the half. They extended their lead with another try from a line out scored by Jack Evans. Despite their best efforts there was no way back for Bridge, as Flint dominated the closing stages.

The home side had to console themselves with a losing bonus point and will look to improve their continuity for the visit of Wrexham next week.
