Wrexham enjoye a 5 try win to progress in the Shield competition.
The visitors opened the scoring early with a try for centre Jack Radcliffe, following a good build up from their forwards.Bridge replied with a try from centre Dan Hughes to level the scores.The rest of the first half was one way traffic, as Wrexham extended their lead with three further tries from Tom Poole, Dan Wiiliams and Vitorio Derosa, for a half time lead of 24 to 5.
Bridge regrouped at half time and emerged from the break with a determination to stem the flow of Wrexham tries. To their credit, despite relentless pressure from Wrexham, Bridge kept them out, until late in the half when replacement winger Dylan Hills went over for a converted try to extend the lead.
Bridge finished strongly but were unable to score. The match ended with a final score of 5 - 31.
