Pwllheli progressed to the Gwynedd Cup final after a highly entertaining match at Llyn Y Felin in Menai Bridge.

The hosts took an early lead following sustained forward pressure when their No. 8 crashed over from a 5 metre scrum, converted by fly half McGrath. The lead didn't last long and, as the hosts accumulated a number of penalties, Pwllheli punished them with a close range try from Gethin Jones. Pwllheli then went on to score 4 unanswered tries either side of half time and, with the score at 7 - 31, Bridge looked dead and buried. However it was Bridge's turn to pile on the points and a try for Dion McGrath, followed by a penalty try closed the gap. Pwllheli slotted a penalty and, with the score at 21 - 34, they hung on despite Bridge scoring another try to take the final score to 26-34.

Pwllheli will meet Nant Conwy in the final on Saturday 20th May.
