This was a comprehensive win for Nant, who outplayed the home team in most aspects of the game. The long break had not helped Bridge and they looked off the pace from the start.

Nant opened the scoring when awarded a penalty as Bridge strayed offside in midfield. The pressure from Nant was relentless and a loose pass into midfield by Bridge was pounced on by the Nant centre who raced away from the halfway line to score under the posts. The try was duly converted for a 0 - 10 lead. Nant shortly after won a scrum against the head, quickly moved the ball to midfield and bashed in under the posts for a converted try. On 20 minutes another attacking play resulted in an outstanding offload out of the tackle for Nant's third try. Bridge rallied their defence and managed to hold out until half time.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Nant dominating the collisions and Bridge defending for their lives. Eventually Nant managed to outflank the Bridge defence, moving the ball at pace to their left wing who brushed off some ineffective tackling to score in the corner, for the bonus point. Shortly after the defence was broken on the right wing and Nant scored their 5th try.

To their credit Bridge held out for the rest of the game, but will need to work on their attacking game, as they never seriously threatened the Nant line during the game.
