Benllech took the spoils in an entertaining Anglesey derby, securing a one point win and a bonus point for their 4 tries. The result came down to the last kick of the game, where a conversion would have secured a bonus point win for Bridge. It was not to be and the home side deservedly took the prize.

Bridge had taken a two try lead in the first half, but Benllech stuck at the task and replied taking a one point lead into half time. Benllech extended their lead with a further try. Sam Williams responded for Bridge with his third try of the game, having switched from flanker to centre he was single handedly carrying the Bridge cause and keeping them in the game. When Benllech scored their fourth try, it looked as if the home side could ride out the end of the half to victory. Bridge picked up their game and a final 5 minutes of pressure on the Benllech line eventually lead to a try for veteran Iwan Jones. This was the final score of the game which ended a memorable match reminiscent of the contests enjoyed by the two clubs over the years.
